An article recently appeared in the Guardian asking how easy it is to drink an ethical cup of coffee.

However, no mention was made of shade-grown, 'Bird Friendly' coffee, such as our Guatemalan coffee - a project for which we won a Guardian Sustainable Business Award in April 2015.

Here, Derek Thomas - UK representative of the Smithsonian Institution's Migratory Bird Centre - responds, with a mention for Cafeology.
